Professor Feeney's Comparative Law Text Published in Japan

Seibundo Press in Japan has just published a Japanese translation of One Case-Two Systems: A Comparative View of American and German Criminal Justice, a book co-authored by Professor Floyd Feeney and Professor Joachim Herrmann (University of Augsburg) that was originally published in 2005. The Japanese translation was supervised by Professor Morikazu Taguchi of Waseda University.

A special Chinese version of the book was published in 2006.  The co-authors of this book were Professor Joachim Herrmann,  Professor Liling Yue (China University of Political Science and Law), and Professor Feeney.

Floyd Feeney is the Homer G. and Ann Berryhill Angelo Professor of Law at the UC Davis School of Law and the winner of the Law School's Distinguished Teaching Award in 1986 and 2008.  The author of seven books and numerous articles, Feeney has received awards from the National Institute of Justice and the California Probation, Parole, and Correctional Association, and is a nationally recognized scholar on election law.
