María Blanco Comments for Rolling Stone on Universities and Immigration

María Blanco, Executive Director of the Undocumented Student Legal Services Center at UC Davis School of Law, commented for Rolling Stone on the “sanctuary campuses” that have promised to decline cooperation with president-elect Donald Trump’s plan to deport millions of undocumented immigrants.

“Basically, it’s a concept that says, ‘You’re safe here, and your immigration status, we won’t ask. We won’t turn you over. We won’t turn your records over,” said Blanco.
