Forever King Hall: Still Time to Make Your Connection!

Forever King Hall

Construction of King Hall's new east wing is entering its final stages, and soon the Law School community will gather for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate its completion.  But there is still time to make your connection with the new King Hall and join the community of supporters who have made this possible!

Through the Forever King Hall program, you can inscribe a courtroom plaque, seat, or paver in the new addition, forging a permanent connection between King Hall and your name or that of a loved one with a gift as modest as $100.  Give now, and see your inscription at the ribbon-cutting celebration in September!

As the construction of the new east wing nears completion, the Law School is working to raise $2.6 million toward an overall campaign goal of $8 million in order to full realize the potential of the renovation phase of the project.  Success is critical in order to provide School of Law with an aesthetically striking and functionally state-of-the-art facility that can accommodate the latest technology and teaching techniques and provide tremendous flexibility as the Law School continues to develop well into the future.

One of the most popular ways for alumni to support the building project has been the Forever King Hall program.  For gifts of $1,000, donors may inscribe a plaque in the Kalmanovitz Appellate Courtroom.  For $500, donors may personalize a plaque on a classroom seat, and for just $100, contributors may inscribe a paver in the new King Hall courtyard.  Each personalized inscription makes the donor's name or the name of someone they wish to honor a permanent part of the new facility.

With construction of the Law School building's new east wing now more than three-quarters complete, plans are well underway for a ribbon-cutting celebration in September.  Please consider a gift through the Forever King Hall program today at www.law.ucdavis.edu/giving, and make plans to join the celebration this fall!
