Family Clinic Students Present on Sexting, Cyberbullying to Yolo Bar

Two students in the UC Davis School of Law Family Protection Clinic, Alexandra Ayoub '12 and Kathleen Zils '12, gave a presentation on "Cyberbullying, Sexting, and Sextortion" at the Yolo County Bar Association on October 20.

The presentation was developed by clinic students last year in response to their realization of a need for training with regard to the problems teens and parents face when inappropriate behaviors take place online, and has been given to more than 800 Yolo County students in grades 7-12 and four community service organizations.

Present for the October 20 presentation were Yolo County Superior Court Judge David W. Reed, Yolo County Bar Association President Frank Crum, attorneys and staff from the Woodland Legal Services of Northern California office, and several Yolo County attorneys.
