Professor Lisa Pruitt and Rebecca Williams '19 Give Presentations on Rural Poverty

Together Professor Lisa Pruitt and Rebecca Williams, Class of 2019, attended two conferences to present their research. The first stop was at the Rural Poverty: Fifty Years After The People Left Behind conference held at the National Associations of Counties in Washington, D.C. There they presented their poster “Safety Net Work Requirements State by State.”

Dr. Diane Ehrensaft Delivers 2018 Bill Smith Memorial Lecture

Dr. Diane Ehrensaft, an associate professor of Pediatrics at UCSF and a developmental and clinical psychologist in the San Francisco Bay Area, delivered the 2018 Bill Smith Memorial Lecture on January 30, speaking on legal, social, and medical issues related to transgender and gender expansive children.

King Hall Trial Practice Team Excels in National Competition

The UC Davis School of Law team of Jon Ogata ’18 and Samantha Ting ’18 advanced to the finals of the Seventh Annual Judge Paul Joseph Kelly, Jr., Invitational Trial Advocacy Competition, turning in an outstanding showing that solidified the King Hall Trial Advocacy program’s status as a national leader.
