Professor Sarkar Presents at ABA Administrative Law Conference

Professor Shayak Sarkar’s paper “Databased Immigration Enforcement” was selected for presentation at the American Bar Association Administrative Law Conference, held May 7 in Washington, D.C.

Sarkar co-authored the paper with attorney Josh Rosenthal.

Shayak Sarkar's scholarship addresses the structure and legal regulation of inequality. His substantive interests lie in financial regulation, employment law, immigration, and taxation.

Professor Aldana Takes Part in Immigration & Nationality Law Review Symposium

Professor Raquel Aldana spoke on a panel at the Immigration and Nationality Law Review’s 
“Community Resistance: Immigration Law in the Face of Mass Deportation & Repression” symposium, held April 17 at UC Davis School of Law.

Aldana took part in the panel discussion “History of ICE, Oppression of Palestinian and Student Activism, and Community Resistance Against the Trump Administration and ICE.”
