UC Davis Law Review Essay Profiled in New York Times
The New York Times profiled a UC Davis Law Review essay entitled, "'Followed Rates' and Leading State Cases, 1940-2005." According to the study, co-authored by Chief Supervising Attorney of the California Supreme Court and UC Davis School of Law alumnus Jake Dear '83, the California Supreme Court is the most influential state court in the nation, with more than 1,200 decisions followed by other states since 1940.
