Raha Jorjani, Holly Cooper Speak at NLG Immigration Project Conference

King Hall had a significant presence at the National Immigration Project of the National Lawyers Guild conference in Philadelphia on October 12.  Two members of the Immigration Law Clinic faculty spoke, with Raha Jorjani delivering a talk on the impacts of Padilla v. Kentucky and Holly Cooper speaking on prolonged detention litigation and addressing the Litigation Strategy meeting.  Also in attendance were San Diego Federal Defender Cassandra Lopez '08, Clinical Faculty Emeritus James F. Smith, and a group of King Hall students.
