Professor Joslin Co-Authors Chapter of New Book

Professor Courtney Joslin co-authored a chapter in the new book Seminal: On Sperm, Health and Politics (NYU Press).

Co-authored with Professors Douglas NeJaime (Yale Law School) and Katherine Kraschel (Northeastern Law School), the chapter is titled “The High Stakes of Gamete Regulation in a Post-Dobbs World.”

NYU Press states that the new book “offers a kaleidoscopic view of the relationship between sperm, health, and the intersecting politics of gender, race, and reproduction.”

Professor Joslin is a leading scholar in the field of family and relationship recognition, with a particular focus on same-sex and non-marital couples. She is a two-time Dukeminier Award recipient and the 2023 recipient of UC Davis Law’s Distinguished Teaching Award.
