Law School Co-Sponsors Critical Race Theory Conference
UC Davis School of Law will co-sponsor "CRT 20: Honoring Our Past, Charting Our Future," a conference on critical race theory taking place at the University of Iowa College on Law April 2-4, and several King Hall faculty members will travel to Iowa to participate.
Dean Kevin R. Johnson will take part in a panel discussion on "Race, Representation, and Elections." Professors Jennifer Chacón, Lisa Ikemoto, and Thomas Joo will comment on papers presented at the conference, and Professor Chacón will help to present the CRT Award to Professor Richard Delgado of the Seattle University of Law.
The conference is sponsored by the University of Iowa College of Law and co-sponsored by University of California, Berkeley School of Law, the University of Connecticut School of Law, Denver University's Sturm College of Law, the University of Miami School of Law, and Southern Methodist University's Dedman School of Law, as well as UC Davis School of Law.
