Dean Johnson Comments on GOP Website Attacks
Dean Kevin R. Johnson commented in a recent Sacramento Bee article on the controversy surrounding material on the official Sacramento County Republican Party website attacking Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama. The material, which sought to link Obama with terrorist leader Osama bin Laden, was removed from the site by the time of the article's publication on October 15.
Dean Johnson states that the offensive material "suggests ... that we haven't gone as far as we would like in putting racism to bed."
