West Study Aids

  • Exam Pro - Includes sample exams (multiple-choice and essay) with model answers. To access interactive practice questions, sign in or set up an account with your UC Davis email address, then click "Take Quiz" on the right side of the page.
  • Gilbert Law Summaries - Provides course outlines with practice multiple-choice, true-false, and essay questions.
  • Acing series - Synthesizes course material and uses a checklist format to guide students through questions they need to ask to fully evaluate legal problems.
  • Nutshells - Presents law school subjects in a concise, readable format.

Aspen Learning Library

  • Examples & Explanations - Provides hypothetical questions and detailed explanations to help you test your knowledge of law school topics.
  • Emanuel CrunchTime - Includes exam tips, capsule summaries, flow charts, and sample exam questions.
  • Emanuel Outlines - Covers topics, cases and blackletter law for law school courses, with quizzes and essay questions.

CALI Tutorials

CALI offers interactive tutorials on course topics. Many of the tutorials contain vignettes, multiple-choice questions, model questions/answers, etc. Stop by the reference desk or email lawlibref@ucdavis.edu for an access code.

Exam Archive

Check if your professor has uploaded previous exams to the intranet. Looking at past exams is often a great way to get an idea of what your exam may look like. Click "Course Tools" on the Intranet site to access the exam archive.
