Library Week, the annual celebration of the Mabie Law Library, begins Monday, March 16. Throughout the week, currently enrolled students at UC Davis School of Law can participate in daily contests, research demonstrations, giveaways, treats, and prize drawings.

In celebration of Women's History Month, the Mabie Law Library is proud to present a display honoring trailblazing women who have shaped American law and justice. This exhibit features biographies and histories drawn from the Law Library's collection, spotlighting figures from suffragists to Supreme Court justices:

The Law Library has free online study aids to help you in your Spring 1L courses. Here are some examples:

West Academic is offering temporary trial access to West Academic and Foundation Press® textbooks adopted for Spring 2026 courses. This access will be available during the first two weeks of the spring semester, from January 5 to January 26, 2026. 

To get started, follow these instructions to register.

The Mabie Law Library will close at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23 and remain closed through Friday, January 2.

Circulation services, reserve materials, and reference assistance will be unavailable until regular hours resume on Monday, January 5.

Your AggieCard will still provide 24-hour access to King Hall and library study spaces. Please plan ahead for any library materials or research assistance you may need and visit us before the break.
