The Guardian Highlights Professor Chin's Research on Chicago Cafe

The Guardian published an in-depth article May 2 on Woodland’s Chicago Café and Professor Gabriel “Jack” Chin’s continued research into the café’s history as the oldest Chinese restaurant in California and probably the United States.

Gabriel “Jack” Chin is a Martin Luther King Jr. Professor of Law and holder of the Edward L. Barrett Jr. Endowed Chair at UC Davis School of Law. He is a prolific and much-cited criminal and immigration law scholar whose work has addressed many of the most pressing social issues of our time.
