Baumann '09, Bisharat '09, Lucia '09, and Toscano '09 Honored at 3L BBQ

Monica Baumann '09, Nabil Bisharat '09, Kimberly Lucia '09, and Eric Toscano '09 were honored with the Frank and Margaret Johns Alumni Award at the 3L BBQ on April 24 at the University Club.

The students, who were recognized for their dedication and involvement at King Hall, were selected by a committee of nine alumni.  The awards were presented by King Hall Alumni Board Members Kara Ueda '00 and Jeffrey Leacox '88 and Alumni Board President Steve Boutin '72.

"All of the nominees demonstrated a sincere commitment to King Hall, and the committee was proud to honor and recognize these four outstanding students," said Ueda.

The 3L BBQ was attended by the members of the Class of '09 and their family and friends.  Several King Hall faculty, alumni and staff were also in attendance, including Dean Kevin R. Johnson, Professor Emeritus Cruz Reynoso, Associate Dean Vikram Amar, and Professors Jennifer Chacón, Courtney Joslin, John Oakley, Holly Cooper, Krystal Callaway Jaime, Dylan Malagrino, Amagda Pérez, Raha Jorjani and Carter White.
