Professor Shestowsky Speaks on ‘Psychology of Litigants' at Florida State University College of Law

Professor Donna Shestowsky presented a work-in-progress paper as part of the faculty enrichment speaker's series at Florida State University College of Law. Her talk was entitled "The Psychology of Litigants: How Litigants Evaluate Legal Procedures Ex Ante" and was based on results from a multi-year national study of plaintiffs and defendants.

Donna Shestowsky, who has both a law degree and a PhD in Psychology, is a Professor at UC Davis School of Law, where she teaches Criminal Law, Negotiation Strategy, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and a seminar in Legal Psychology.  She was the 2007 recipient of the Law School's Distinguished Teaching Award.
