Professor Amar Lists Year's Top 10 Supreme Court Trends for Wall Street Journal

Professor Vikram Amar wrote a Dec. 8 piece for the Wall Street Journal on the 10 biggest Supreme Court trends of 2023. The year brought fewer cases altogether but many memorable ones, Amar wrote, along with some unexpected agreements and coalitions among some of the justices.

Vikram Amar returned to UC Davis as a distinguished professor of law in 2023 after serving for eight years as dean and Iwan Foundation Professor of Law at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign College of Law. Before that, he was a professor and the senior associate dean for academic affairs at King Hall, from 2008 to 2015.
