Maggy Krell '03 to Run for Sacramento County District Attorney
California Deputy District Attorney Maggy Krell '03 has announced that she is a candidate in the Sacramento County District Attorney race. The seat is currently held by Jan Scully, who is not seeking reelection when her term expires in 2014. Krell's announcement drew coverage from media including the Sacramento Bee.
Krell has worked as a prosecutor and appellate lawyer for the state Attorney General for nine of the past 10 years. She will face Deputy District Attorney Anne Marie Schubert in the 2014 election.
