Plans in Motion for 2013 Milestone Reunions

Attention King Hall classes of '73, '78, '83, '88, '93, '98, '03, and '08: plans are already in motion for the 2013 Milestone Reunion set to be held on October 26.  Reunion Planning Committees are hard at work, and volunteers are needed to help make this year's milestone reunions everything they can be!

The Milestone Reunion is always one of the most enjoyable events of the year at King Hall, offering alumni a chance to renew old friendships, celebrate classmates' successes, and reminisce with faculty and staff.  Recent years have seen increasing participation, with alumni attendance reaching an all-time high in 2012. Activities typically include a reception, a luncheon featuring remarks from Dean Kevin R. Johnson, and tours of the newly renovated and expanded King Hall.  Very often, individual classes organize additional social opportunities throughout the weekend, including gatherings at local restaurants or homes and other events that provide opportunities to reconnect with old friends and make new memories.

Every year, about 40-50 alumni volunteer for their class reunion planning committees to help organize and promote reunion activities.  Many volunteers are already helping to plan the 2013 reunion, but more are needed to reach out to classmates to encourage attendance, arrange for evening get-togethers, and organize class gifts-a King Hall tradition that has supported student scholarships, the King Hall Expansion and Renovation, and other vital Law School needs.
