Professor Harris Speaks on Workplace Bias at USF School of Law

Professor Angela Harris spoke at the University of San Francisco School of Law on February 15, discussing persistent patterns of workplace bias faced by women faculty of color and strategies for survival in academia.  Professor Harris spoke with Seattle University School of Law Professor Carmen G. Gonzalez, with whom she co-authored Presumed Incompetent: The Intersections of Race and Class for Women in Academia, published in October 2012 by Utah University Press. 

Professor Harris is one of the nation's foremost scholars in the fields of critical race theory, feminist legal theory, and civil rights. She joined the UC Davis School of Law faculty in 2011.
