Professor Sunder Delivers Prestigious Lecture Series at University of Hong Kong School of Law

Professor Madhavi Sunder delivered the Hochelaga Lectures at the University of Hong Kong School of Law on March 19-21.  The Hochelaga series is the University of Hong Kong School of Law's most prestigious named lecture series. On March 19, she delivered the first lecture, "Technologies of Enlightenment," considering the role of new technologies in spurring social change before and after the Arab Spring. On March 21, she participated in a seminar with University of Hong Kong scholars from multiple disciplines on the subject of "Culture and Freedom."  On March 22, she delivered the final lecture, "Reading the Qur'an in Kuala Lumpur." Professor Sunder is writing a book of the same name.

Madhavi Sunder is a Professor of Law at King Hall whose special interests included intellectual property, law and culture studies, women's rights, intellectual property in cyberspace, and international intellectual property.
