Professor Larson Cited in The Economist

Professor Carlton Larson is cited in the January 14, 2012 edition of The Economist in an article surveying government regulations regarding parental naming rights.  Professor Larsonis the author of a paper on the rights of U.S. parents with regard to the naming of their offspring ("Naming Baby: The Constitutional Dimensions of Naming Rights," published in George Washington Law Review last year) that is the most comprehensive analysis of the topic. Carlton Larson's research interests focus on constitutional law and legal history, often with an emphasis on the 18th century.
