Michael LaSalle '70 Publishes Historical Book on Overland Trail

Michael LaSalle '70 has published Emigrants on the Overland Trail: The Wagon Trains of 1848.  The book, published by Truman State University Press, tells the story of the wagon trains headed to California and Oregon in 1848 using rare and never-before-published material.  LaSalle lives in Hanford, California where he farms and pursues his interest in Western history.
