Professor Lin Comments on Offshore Drilling for CSM
Professor Albert Lin commented for the Christian Science Monitor on the slower pace of offshore oil drilling operations in the wake of the Deepwater Horizon spill last year. As the government has moved to police offshore operations more diligently, exploration and drilling have slowed.
"It's inevitable that any review that is going to be real is definitely going to slow down the process," said Lin. "These are complicated operations, and I don't think they were looked at adequately before."
Albert Lin is a professor at the UC Davis School of Law with special interests in environmental law, natural resources law, and evidence.
