Sacramento Lawyer Covers Chief Justice Cantil-Sakauye '84 Investiture
The Investiture Celebration for the Honorable Tani Cantil-Sakauye '84, Chief Justice of California, is the subject of a lengthy article in the May/June 2011 issue of Sacramento Lawyer. The event, hosted by the Sacramento County Bar Association with support from UC Davis School of Law, brought more than 900 members of the Sacramento legal community together to honor the new Chief Justice on February 10. Dean Kevin R. Johnson was among those chosen to speak at the event, and his remarks are quoted several times in the three-page article, which was reported by celebration committee member and King Hall alumnus Yoshinori "Toso" Himel '75.
