Lisa Miller '11, Jessica Taylor '11 Prevail in Frances Carr Competition

The team of Lisa Miller '11 and Jessica Taylor '11 took top honors in the final round of 2010 Frances Carr Mock Trial Competition on November 11, prevailing in a close contest over Noah Marshall '11 and John Wheat '11.  The intraschool mock trial competition drew a remarkable 75 student participants this year.

Named for the late Judge Frances Carr, the first female Sacramento County Superior Court judge, the annual competition allows King Hall students the opportunity to compete in four rounds of mock trial competition presided over by local judges and critiqued by legal professionals.

The Trial Practice Honors Board would like to thank Rena Contreras and Professor Edward Imwinkelried for their help with the competition.
