Jeffrey Osofsky '09 Publishes Award-Winning Article

Jeffrey Osofsky '09, who won first place in the State Bar of California Labor & Employment Law 2009 Writing Competition, has published the winning article.  The abstract appears in the California Labor & Employment Law Review and the full paper, "The FEHA and Criminal Record-Based Hiring Policies: When Does a Violation Occur?" is posted on the State Bar website.

Osofsky, who with Sarah McBride '09, went undefeated in head-to-head competition at the American Bar Association National Negotiation Competition last year and ultimately triumphed with McBride as the U.S. representatives in the International Negotiations Competition, is now an associate at Paul, Hastings, Janofksy & Walker in Los Angeles, where he represents management in all aspects of labor and employment law.
