Professor Feeney to Present Paper in Beijing

Professor Floyd Feeney traveled to Beijing in April to present a paper entitled, "The Role of Appeals in American Criminal Justice," at the International Symposium on the Reform of the Appellate Process in Criminal Justice sponsored by the Chinese Supreme Court and China University of Political Science and Law.

The Homer G. and Ann Berryhill Angelo Professor of Law at the UC Davis School of Law, Professor Feeney is an expert on comparative criminal justice.  He served as assistant director for the President's Crime Commission in the 1960s, worked for the British Home Office in the 1980s, and with a German colleague co-authored a book comparing German and American criminal procedure in 2005.
