King Hall Faculty, Staff, Students and Alums Volunteer for Citizenship Fair

Professor Amagda Pérez, Kirsten Hill '04, Associate Director of Career Services and Public Interest Career Planning, California Rural Legal Assistance Foundation attorney Erin Hernandez '08, attorney Clara Levers '03, and Immigration Law Clinic Fellow Grisel Ruiz will be joined by a group of King Hall students in traveling to Hamilton City on November 14 to provide free immigration consultation at the Know Your Rights citizenship fair.

The event is presented by the American Civil Liberties Union of Northern California and the Chico ACLU Chapter's Immigration Rights Committee and sponsored by the Immigrant Legal Resource Center, Wells Fargo Bank, Del Norte Clinics, the Mexican Consulate, and California Human Development.  It is expected to draw approximately 1,000 immigrant clients.
