My-Linh Le '12 Finalist in $10,000 Video Scholarship Contest

My-Linh Le '12 is a finalist in the Access Group's "My Inspiration" $10,000 video scholarship contest.  Le submitted her video on the theme of "What inspired you to become a lawyer?" and was chosen by the Access Group judges as one of 10 finalists whose entries have been posted for public viewing on YouTube.  The finalist whose video receives the most votes from the general public will receive a $10,000 scholarship and five honorable mention winners will receive $1,500.  Winners will be announced September 1.

Le's video follows her consideration of several career options, many of them involving the performing arts, until she begins to consider studying for the LSAT and realizes that the law "was like the missing ingredient to the balance she craved, as if law completed her.  She also decided that artists, filmmakers, musicians, choreographers, writers, and the like could probably use some legal advice every now and then, too."
