New Alum Haney to Argue Case Before Ninth Circuit

On October 29, 2008, Erin Haney '08 will arguesa case before a three-judge panel of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. The court is holding a special sitting at University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law, and Haney's case is the first on the court's docket.

The case is an appeal from a jury trial that the UC Davis Civil Rights Clinic, with Haney as co-counsel for the plaintiff, helped win in 2007. Haney will be supervised by Professor Carter C. White, an attorney with the UC Davis Civil Rights Clinic.
