The King Hall Legal Foundation (KHLF) Spring Charity Auction is
set for February 25, and excitement is building for one of the most
enjoyable—and important—events of the year for the King Hall
community. Hopes are high that this year's auction will be another
successful example of Law School faculty, friends, alumni, students,
and staff coming together in support of public interest law at King Hall.
King Hall will host a session of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the
Ninth Circuit in the new Kalmanovitz Appellate Courtroom on March
15. The hearing will mark the first time the Ninth Circuit has held a
session at UC Davis School of Law, and demonstrates the ways in
which the upgraded facilities in King Hall’s new east wing are enriching
students’ experiences and enhancing the Law School’s profile.
As a top student in her class, Shea Brack ’11 was proud to be named
as a recipient of the UC Davis School of Law Academic Excellence Scholarship. Now, she’s eager to use the opportunities afforded to
her by the scholarship to make an even greater impact at King Hall
and in the community.
