Professor Frank Testifies for California Senate Natural Resources and Water Committee
On March 18, Professor of Environmental Practice Richard Frank testified as the lead-off witness at a hearing convened by the California State Senate Natural Resources and Water Committee at the State Capitol in Sacramento. The topic of the legislative hearing was "Managing California's Groundwater: Issues and Challenges." Frank was invited by the Committee Chair Fran Pavley to provide an overview of California groundwater law for the Senators, legislative staff, and public in attendance.
Frank, a 1974 graduate of King Hall, is a leader in the field of environmental law and the founding Director of the California Environmental Law and Policy Center at UC Davis School of Law.
