Professor Chander Speaks on Online Surveillance at Stanford Law School

Professor Anupam Chander gave a presentation entitled "Surveillance along the Electronic Silk Road: China and the United States" at Stanford Law School on January 28.  The talk, sponsored by Stanford's Center for the Internet and Society and the China Law Association, covered ideas discussed in Professor Chander's recent book, The Electronic Silk Road: How the Web Binds the World Together in Trade. In this accessible book, Professor Chander, a cyber-law expert, provides the first thorough discussion of the law that relates to global Internet commerce.

Professor Anupam Chander is a leading scholar in the law of globalization and digitization, and has written widely on international law and cyber law.  He is also Director of the California International Law Center at King Hall.
