Professor Ikemoto Presents on 'New Biology' and Reproductive Technology

Professor Lisa Ikemoto recently gave two presentations. On November 1, she gave a talk on "The New Biology" at the San Francisco Estate Planning Council and Golden Gate University School of Law Second Biennial Estate Planning Advisor Seminar. On November 7, she presented "Fertile Ground: The Wild West World of Reproductive Tech" at the Funders Network on Population-Reproductive Health & Rights Annual Meeting, in Carlsbad, California.

Lisa Ikemoto teaches bioethics and health law courses at the UC Davis School of Law. She has written extensively on genetic and reproductive technology, the regulation of fertility and pregnancy, and race and gender disparities in health care. Her current work examines emerging issues in regenerative medicine, including stem cell research, and the human tissues market.
