King Hall Faculty Play Prominent Role in Law & Society Annual Meeting

King Hall faculty played a prominent role in the 2013 Law & Society Annual Meeting, presenting research and leading discussions at the most important annual gathering of one of the leading professional organizations devoted to the study of law and its intersections with social, political, economic, and cultural issues. Professors Gabriel "Jack" Chin, Angela Harris, Lisa Ikemoto, Rex Perschbacher, and Rose Cuison Villazor spoke at the conference, which was held in Boston from May 30 to June 2. 

Professor Chin participated in a panel on The Future of Criminal Justice in America, a forthcoming book from Cambridge University Press, to which he contributed a chapter.  Professor Harris chaired a roundtable discussion on "Teaching Food Law: New Directions?" Professor Ikemoto presented her paper on "Embryo Transactions."  Professor Perschbacher presented his paper "Some Procedural Oddities of Jurisdictional Challenges." Professor Villazor presented her paper "Pursuing Equality and Membership: LGBTQ Individuals and Undocumented Immigrants."
