Yuchih Pearl Kan '13 Selected as Equal Justice Works Fellow

Yuchih Pearl Kan '13 has been selected by Bingham McCutchen as the firm's 2013 - 2015 Equal Justice Works Fellow.  This fall, she will start her legal career at California Rural Legal Assistance helping vulnerable and disadvantaged communities gain access to safe drinking water in the Salinas Valley, where nitrate contamination of groundwater is of widespread concern.

UC Davis School of Law has enjoyed a close relationship with Equal Justice Works, and two King Hall graduates are current Equal Justice Works Fellows: Austin Baumgarten '12, now working with Swords to Ploughshares in San Francisco, and Joanna Cuevas Ingram '12, a fellow with the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights of the San Francisco Bay Area.  In addition, Lauren Roberts '12 is serving as an Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps Legal Fellow, working with OneJustice's Justice Bus Project.
