Professors Frank, Dunning Speak at Dividing the Waters Conference

On October 17-18, Professor Emeritus Harrison ("Hap") Dunning and Professor of Environmental Practice Richard Frank spoke at the annual Dividing the Waters Conference, held this year at King Hall.  Dividing the Waters is a non-profit organization whose mission is the training of judicial officials in the adjudication of complex water law disputes.  The 2012 conference, hosted and co-sponsored by UC Davis School of Law's California Environmental Law & Policy Center, drew approximately 50 federal, state and administrative law judges to King Hall for four days of intensive training on a wide variety of water law-related topics.

Professor Dunning's presentation was entitled "California Surface Water, Groundwater and the Environment."  Professor Frank's opening address focused on "Central Valley Groundwater and the California Delta."  At the conference banquet Frank also received a citation from the National Judicial College--another co-sponsor of this year's Dividing the Waters event--commemorating his five years of service to the cause of judicial education.
