Voters Return Tom Stallard '75 to Woodland City Council Seat

Voters have returned Tom Stallard '75 to a seat on the Woodland City Council.  Stallard, who was appointed to the council last year to fill a seat left vacant by the retirement of Councilmember Jeff Monroe, was the leading vote getter in the June 5 balloting to fill three seats on the five-person council.

Stallard's many business and civic pursuits include founding a legislative research firm as well as a historic building renovation company and serving eight years on the Yolo County Board of Supervisors. He has been an enthusiastic supporter of UC Davis and the School of Law, serving on the King Hall Alumni Association Board of Directors, of which he is a past president, and volunteering in numerous capacities.  He and his wife, Meg, have also given generously to the Law School, making a gift to name the Stallard Family Conference Room in King Hall's new east wing. (The naming honors the Stallards as a family in order to also recognize their son, David S. Stallard, a 2004 graduate of King Hall.)
