Barrett Lecture by Drew Days to Be Rescheduled

Yale Law School Professor and former United States Solicitor General Drew Days has been forced to postpone his delivery of the 2012 Edward L. Barrett, Jr., Lecture on Constitutional Law.  Professor Days was scheduled to visit King Hall and give the lecture on March 26, but is now looking for a mutually acceptable date in the Fall 2012 semester.

The postponement comes as a result of litigation brought by members of the Occupy movement resisting the removal of tents from New Haven Green.  Professor Days is chair of the body that oversees the Green and believes that he needs to remain in New Haven to assist their attorneys in preparation for an important hearing in federal court on March 28.
