Professor Afsharipour Presents Paper at George Washington Law Junior Faculty Workshop

Professor Afra Afsharipour presented her article "A Shareholders' Put Option: Counteracting the Acquirer Overpayment Problem" (forthcoming in 2012 from the Minnesota Law Review) at the second annual Junior Faculty Business and Financial Law Workshop hosted by George Washington University Law School's Center for Law, Economics & Finance (C-LEAF) on February 10-11, 2012. The workshop supports and recognizes the work of young legal scholars in accounting, banking, bankruptcy, corporations, economics, finance, and securities, while promoting interaction between them and selected senior faculty.

Professor Afsharipour researches in the areas of comparative corporate law, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, mergers and acquisitions, and transactional law. Her article was one of 12 papers selected for presentation from a pool of over 80 submissions.
