Professor Sunder Speaks on 'Free Culture to Fair Culture' at UC Davis Cultural Studies Colloquium

Professor Madhavi Sunder spoke on "From Free Culture to Fair Culture: Cultural Sharing Amidst Global Inequalities" on January 26 as part of the 2011-12 Cultural Studies Colloquium Series sponsored by the Cultural Studies Graduate Group.  Professor Sunder discussed ideas of "free culture" and "public domain" and impediments to cultural participation on fair terms faced by the poor.

Madhavi Sunder is a Professor of Law at King Hall whose special interests included intellectual property, law and culture studies, women's rights, intellectual property in cyberspace, and international intellectual property.
