Professor Joo Cited on CNBC.com

An article by Professor Thomas Joo was cited in a recent column by John Carney, senior editor of CNBC.com, on the Securities Investor Protection Act (SIPA).  Calling it "the most comprehensive account of SIPA I've read," Carney quotes extensively from Joo's "Who Watches the Watchers? The Securities Investor Protection Act, Investor Confidence, and the Subsidization of Failure" (Southern California Law Review, Vol. 72, May 1999) in defending his assertion that SIPA amounted to a bailout of Wall Street.

Joo, a professor at UC Davis School of Law, specializes in the areas of corporate governance and race and the law.
