Pamela Wu Joins King Hall as New Marketing Director

Bringing a wealth of experience as a communications professional, Pamela Wu will join the UC Davis School of Law staff on February 23 as the new Director of Marketing and Communications.

A graduate of UC Davis, where she earned a degree in Rhetoric and Communications, Wu is familiar to many in the Sacramento area from her work as a news anchor and reporter for KCRA-TV, a position she has held from October 2001.  Her previous experience includes similar positions with KSBW-TV and  KION-TV in Salinas and KVIQ-TV in Eureka, as well as work as a production assistant writer for KOVR.

During her years in television news, Wu displayed strong writing and editing skills, producing everything from broadcast reports to website content.  She also managed a team of producers, writers, and photographers under tight daily deadlines and developed an extensive range of contacts in the Sacramento area.  Many of the stories she reported involved legal issues and interviews with law professors, and she has emceed events for a wide range of groups including the Asian Pacific Islander Public Affairs Association, the Sacramento Area Council of Governments Regional Planning Forum, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and others.
