Grievance and Disciplinary Issues
I or someone I know may be a victim of prohibited discrimination, harassment, or arbitrary treatment. What resources are available to me?
Please see the Sexual Harassment Education Program. The UC Davis Policy and Procedure Manual Chapter 280, Section 05 provides procedures for resolving student complaints about prohibited discrimination and harassment as well as an abbreviated procedure for reviewing student complaints of arbitrary treatment that do not constitute prohibited discrimination or harassment.
I am looking for resources on sexual assault, domestic/dating violence, and/or stalking.
Please see the UC Davis Campus Violence Prevention Program.
I have a grievance or disciplinary issue.
Please see the Law School Complaint Procedure and the UC Davis Code of Academic Conduct. The Regulations of the Faculty of the School of Law (http://www.law.ucdavis.edu/current/registrar/files/Regulations.pdf ) and the UC Davis campus web site (http://sja.ucdavis.edu/student-grievances.html) each contain separate sections pertaining specifically to student rights and grievances. Jurisdiction over and resolution of a student complaint may fall under a combination of School of Law or university policies.
