As a student at King Hall, Tom Stallard worked for the California
Legislature and used the legal knowledge and practical experience he
gained to launch a thriving business that has prospered for more than
35 years. As an alumnus, he has been one of the Law School’s most

Applications to UC Davis School of Law in 2010 increased by a
remarkable 21.6 percent compared to last year, with the Law School
receiving the third-highest number of applications in its history. King
Hall received 4,036 applications, far surpassing the 3,318 received in
2009. The Law School's increase was more than triple the national
average increase of 6.1 percent.

In two highly anticipated events, California Supreme Court Justice
Carlos Moreno delivered the Brigitte M. Bodenheimer Lecture on
Family Law at King Hall on February 11, and Judge Stephen R.
Reinhardt of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit delivered
the Edward L. Barrett, Jr. Lecture on Constitutional Law on
February 25.
