of Law was able to bring renowned venture capitalist John Doerr and
other industry leaders and legal experts to King Hall for the 2009
Fenwick & West Technology, Entrepreneurship, Science, and the Law

Volunteer Profile: Jay C. Carlisle ’69

Jay C. Carlisle ’69 has many fond memories of the Law School’s
earliest days and credits the education he received at King Hall for
providing the basis for a successful career that has included more than
30 years on the faculty of Pace Law School in New York.  That’s why
he’s volunteered to urge classmates to support the King Hall
Expansion and Renovation project and help the Law School meet the
Mabie Challenge.

Construction Update:  New Building Ready for Winter

The King Hall Expansion and Renovation project progressed rapidly
throughout the final months of 2009, as crews worked to finish the new
east wing’s windows and exterior walls and weatherize the structure
before the onset of the rainy season.  Construction of the new wing is
on schedule for completion in May 2010.
