
International and Exchange Programs
Overview
Our summer "open enrollment" programs are available to anyone from the legal profession interested in continuing his or her legal education. Summer 2013 marks the 24th year that we will offer attorneys, judges, pre-LL.M. students, and legal professionals from around the world the opportunity to study in our summer programs at the School of Law, University of California, Davis. The following are this summer's highlights:

We are proud to offer the Sixteenth Annual International Commercial Law Seminar in Cologne, Germany (a two-week program June 17-28, 2013), a joint collaboration between the University of California, the University of Cologne and the German Bar Association (DAV). The topic for 2013 will be International Business and Intellectual Property in the Information Age: Dispute Resolution and Substantive Rights.
- The Orientation in U.S.A. Law (July 7-August 3, 2013) provides an excellent four-week overview of the U.S. legal system. Over past years, more than 1,800 participants from 50 countries have taken part in this program.
- The two-week Global Trading System: Substance and Dispute Resolution (August 5-16, 2013) program is designed for experienced legal and business practitioners who wish to learn about complex international and U.S. business and legal transactions.
