Mindy A. Baggish, Esq.

Director of Career Services

Mindy is the Director of Career Services at the University of California, Davis School of Law. Prior to her current position Mindy practiced law as a litigation associate at Pillsbury Madison & Sutro (now Pillsbury Winthrop) in Los Angeles; served as Director, Chief Advocate, and Fundraiser for The Anti-Violence Project, a non-profit advocacy group for hate-crime victims in Los Angeles; and worked as a contract attorney for various law firms. Following practice she worked as a marketing executive, and then as a recruiter for Waldorf Associates in Los Angeles placing attorneys and working with a variety of private sector legal entities. Mindy earned a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in English from Vassar College and a Juris Doctorate, with Honors, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where she was a published Member and Editor on the Law Review.

Kirsten H. Hill, Esq.

Associate Director of Career Services & Public Interest Career Planning

Kirsten began her legal career as an AmeriCorps Advocate for the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii assisting low-income Hawaii residents with a variety of legal matters. She returned to California in 2005 to assume the responsibilities of Project Director & Attorney at the California Rural Legal Assistance Foundation (CRLA) in Sacramento, where she has worked until the present time. At CRLA, Kirsten manages immigration and education cases. For a six month period, while still working at CRLA, Kirsten also worked as the Supervising Attorney at the UC Davis Immigration Law Clinic. Kirsten is a 2004 graduate of King Hall.

Kimberly Thomas

Manager of Recruitment Programs

Kim joined the Career Services staff in January 2002.  She manages our recruitment programs, including the Fall and Spring On-Campus Interview Programs. Prior to UC Davis, Kim was the Assistant Director of Career Services at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan.

Lisa Taylor Carlock, Esq.

Graduate Employment Specialist and Career Counselor

Lisa Taylor Carlock earned her undergraduate degree in psychology at UC Davis in 1993 and her law degree from King Hall in 1997. While at King Hall, Lisa served as Managing Editor of the UC Davis Law Review. Upon graduation from law school, Lisa worked as an associate in the Sacramento office of Pillsbury Madison & Sutro (now Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pitman), where she specialized in real estate and corporate transactional matters. In 2002, Lisa returned to King Hall to assist the office of Career Services with various employment projects, including the development of the Alumni Coaching Program.
