J.D. Admissions
NEED-BASED FEE WAIVERS:
UC Davis Law School does not administer an in-house need-based fee waiver program. In order to provide this important option to our applicants with financial need, we honor need-based fee-waivers granted by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC).
Applicants who have been granted an LSAC fee waiver need do nothing beyond filing the electronic application for admission. The waiver is granted immediately upon submission of the application.
OTHER NEED-BASED FEE WAIVERS:
Fee waivers are also granted for current or recent - within the last calendar year - participants in AmeriCorp, Teach for America or the Peace Corp. To secure the waiver, participants need only provide a letter from the organization verifying dates of participation.
MERIT FEE WAIVERS:
The Admission Office will, from time to time, search the LSAC Candidate Referral Service (CRS) database and invite prospective applicants to apply for admission. Fee waivers may be included with the invitation to apply. Only applicants receiving an explicit invitation from UC Davis Law School are eligible.
Merit waivers are not provided upon request.
The application fee is not waived for International, transfer or visiting applicants.
